About Course

This course provides an overview of crime scene investigation and the disciplines of forensic science. The course focuses on the role and responsibilities of the crime scene investigator, as well as the investigation of crime scenes and evidence. Topics include basic crime scene investigation, evidence identification, evidence photography, and evidence collection procedures. In this course, students will learn how to prepare and improve their skill set in documenting and processing the scene, identifying, collecting, and preserving evidence, and preparing them to testify in court. You can complete the course from the comfort of your own home or office.

  • The students will achieve a basic level of proficiency and an ability to demonstrate the fundamental skills and knowledge necessary to conduct a basic crime scene investigation
