SimplyForensic.com is founded and authored by a forensic analyst and a PhD candidate dedicated to making forensic science accessible, reliable, and media-rich. With a master’s in forensic science (forensic biotechnology) and a bachelor’s in biotechnology, the author brings experience in law-enforcement DNA and toxicology casework as well as field evidence collection and chain-of-custody management. Technical competencies include biological screening, DNA extraction, qPCR, STR amplification, capillary electrophoresis, fragment analysis, STR interpretation, GC-MS drug analysis, and forensic photography.
