Forensic taphonomy is the study of what happens to a body between death and recovery.The branch of forensic science concerned with the Post Mortem transformations that corporal remains undergo from the moment of death up until the time of discovery is known as forensic taphonomy (Byers, 2005; Marks et al., 2009; Willey & Leach, 2009).
