The body of a 13-year-old boy who was found murdered and stuffed inside a suitcase in the Maldivian capital last June has been buried today following the completion of a postmortem. His funeral was held today after the Maghrib prayer.
His body was sent to Trivandrum, India, for post mortem examination on July 5. Today his body was brought back to the Maldives following the completion of the postmortem examination. However, the Police have yet received the examination report.

Police have made two arrests connected to the case; a 17-year-old Maldivian male and a 27-year-old Maldivian male. When presented before the court for their remand hearing on June 22, the court ordered the 27-year-old to be remanded in jail pending trial and the 17-year-old to be remanded in jail for 15 days.
