The victim’s body was sent to Trivandrum, India, for a postmortem examination on July 5 and was returned to the Maldives once the autopsy was finalized. However, the Police are still awaiting the detailed examination report.
In connection with the case, the Police have arrested two individuals—a 17-year-old and a 27-year-old Maldivian male.
